Just a simple road trip...

Yeah right! I don't know about you, but I thought a road trip with a toddler was bad enough, but a road trip with a toddler and an infant is just insane!

Here's a look at the back of our car before we headed to California for a fun-filled three days:

• 2 pack n plays
• bouncy seat
• booster seat
• double stroller
• 50 size 3 diapers
• 46 size 4 diapers
• 176 wet wipes
• 10 outfits
• 6 onesies
• 6 bibs
• formula
• baby cereal and sweet potatoes
• plenty of snacks for the drive
• bottles
• sippy cups
• bowls and utensils
• 5 stuffed animals
• Disney DVDs and laptop computer to play them
• 2 wave machines

Now, some of you might find this excessive, but our motto is the same as the Boy Scouts: Be Prepared (for everything!). Granted, we're taking home more than half of each size diaper and most of the wipes, but sometimes it's just easier to take a package from Costco and have too many rather than not enough.

Now that our weekend is almost over, we're happy to report that each and every item was used and necessary!
