Why??

Why is it that things don't ever seem to work out the way you plan??? Here I am racking my brain to come up with holiday ideas each day, and either my 1 year old, my 2 year old, or the weather doesn't want to cooperate.

Oh wait, it's a 1 year old, a 2 year old and the weather. Who can control any of that? Here are days 9 and 10. Enjoy!

We Interrupt This Program...

to bring a fun technique I just learned. It's not much, but I just loved the way these both turned out and I wanted to share. I'll still try and get tonights page up...but at this point, there are no guarantees.

Then Again...

Maybe not.

I'm learning that I'm being too ambitious when I say I'm going to post everyday. I am getting the pages done each day though. It's just that usually I get them done late at night and I'm ready for bed before I post them. So, today you get Wednesday and Thursdays posts, and maybe later I'll get today's done. Maybe, but don't hold your breath. =)

Green Cookies??

I told you I'd be back with today's layout.

Tonight we made green sugar cookies. They weren't too tough, but I did learn that Dylan doesn't understand "soft" and "careful" as much as I thought she did. She wasn't sure about eating the cookies, but Isaac was grateful for the treat.

Progressive Dinner

Alright, so I'm already off to a bad start, but it's only because yesterday's Daily December required two pages...and I was really tired last night. Last night we had a progressive dinner that was so fun! I loved to see everyone's house decorated and it's always great when family gets together and good food is involved. So here they are, hopefully blogger is better and you can click on the pics and read the journaling about our night.

I promise, later tonight, I'll post today's page. So far, I'm not doing half bad. But I can tell I'm going to need ideas real soon.

December Daily

I decided that I wanted to start some new traditions in our house. The kids are still young, but Dylan is understanding more and more about Christmas and Santa and Froman. That's Frosty the Snowman for those who don't know her lingo. So I figured she was old enough to participate in some fun holiday activities.

I found a great article on one of the blogs I frequent, about creating a daily journal during the month of December. I thought this would be a great idea to digiscrap and then print and bind in a book each year so our family will have fond memories to look back on. The problem is, how many activities can a family enjoy with a 1 and 2 year old? I'm open for suggestions, so please chime in.

Unfortunately I didn't get last night's entry posted, but I did get the page completed. Here's to hoping I can continue to stay on top of things for the next three weeks. The goal is to post each day's page, on the appropriate day. Wish me luck.

So without further ado, here are the first two pages. And don't worry, we will have some Isaac-inspired pages also. It just so happened to revolve around Dylan these first two nights. Tomorrow will be different. I promise.
